Do I need to come with a fully formed product or solution?

No. You can apply with a problem statement, rough concept, or sector insight.

No. You can join solo, and there are opportunities to connect with potential co‑founders.

Does this program cost money?

Joining the program requires a 500 ILS commitment fee. It’s both a way to confirm your dedication and to cover a portion of the program’s expenses - including your entry ticket to Energy Tech All-Stars.

How do I know my ideas are safe?

Although we are confident in the safety of our space, we completely understand this concern and have taken measures to ensure a sense of trust: all participants are required to sign a declaration of confidentially regarding the ideas shared upon entrance to the program.

Is funding guaranteed?

Funding is not guaranteed, but top participants may receive grants (e.g., PCT/provisional award) and may be exposed to investment opportunities.

Will I meet industry partners?

Yes. Sessions include mentors and domain experts from the EnergyTech ecosystem.

What happens after the program ends?

EI2S Alumni remain connected to the Ignite The Spark community, gaining access to ongoing opportunities and partnerships.

What happens if I realize my idea is, well, not the best?

PIVOT! Our partners have a long list of Energy Tech challenges that they seek to solve, and you may pursue instead of your original idea.

I don’t have an idea but I really want to be a part of this - should I apply?

In short, no. Our target audience for this program is entrepreneurs with at least partially formed ideas - so we would not recommend applying without one. You will be asked to share your own idea and hear your fellow participants' ideas. We believe that sharing is the best way to get validation but, to ensure trust within the circle, those selected will be required to sign a declaration of confidentially regarding the ideas shared.

Attend Energy Tech Week

Participants who are ready and validated will have the opportunity to participate in the landmark Energy Tech conference in June 2026 - giving them exposure to funding and pilot opportunities.
